Jets’ wide receiver Garrett Wilson was overjoyed at the prospect of the beleaguered franchise adding Las Vegas Raiders wideout Davante Adams. Adams was also a teammate of Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers during their Green Bay Packer days where they formed a strong offensive duo for seven seasons.
Of course, Rogers has yet to have an impact for the Jets himself, but is also vocal about wanting Adams on his side once more. He has been making efforts to recruit Adams and give the Jets a shot to contend for a playoff berth.
The 7-10 season last year was a massive let down, even by New York Jets standards. The goal to get back to the playoffs would end a 14 year drought.
