The Seattle Mariners added Outfielder Randy Arozarena to their roster in exchange for multiple prospects. Seattle is in the middle of a losing skid but they are still in first place and looking to increase their chances of having a productive post-season run.
The Mariners have a horrible offense and are in desperate need of some pop in their lineup. Arozarena started the season slow but has picked it up a lot since the start of June, adding his dynamic 5-tool presence to the struggling Seattle offense is a huge opportunity to address a need.
The Mariners gave up OF Aidan Smith, RHP Brody Hopkins, and a player to be named later. It’s very possible Seattle isn’t done adding hitters to their roster, keep an eye out for what comes next.
