Rich Hill is returning to the Boston Red Sox and with one appearance it will be his 20th season in the major leagues, becoming the only active player to achieve that feat.
Hill’s career began with the Chicago Cubs in 2005 he has pitched for Baltimore, Cleveland, Oakland, the Angels, New York (AL), Los Angeles, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, New York (NL), San Diego, Pittsburgh, and Boston.
He is 90-73 with a 4.01 ERA in 382 career games. This will be his fourth time pitching for Boston, the town he was born in.
